For items to be returned more than six months after the time of purchase the same above applies but in addition, evidence of fault at the time of sale will be required.
Please note that you will not be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in respect of fair wear and tear. Please return the original and complete packaging.

Faults developed within the warranty period

Most items sold by The Tenkara Times come with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. If a product develops a fault within the warranty period assistance will be provided by way of spares or a repair depending on the type of product purchased.
An exchange or refund will be issued providing the item is returned within 28 days from the original date of purchase.

All rods come with an unconditional guarantee against manufacture defect. If rod proves to have a manufacturing fault we will replace it free of charge. All you need to do is return the damaged rod to us for inspection to confirm the warranty claim.
The first 3 segments (tip, 2nd and 3rd)  are not covered by the warranty because they are so easily damaged by user error. However, all is not lost. You can buy spare tip sections at our tenkara gear store.
At The Tenkara Times we attempt to be as accurate as possible. However The Tenkara Times does not warrant that the product descriptions or content of this site is always 100% accurate, complete or error free. If a product offered by The Tenkara Times itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return the item in a unused condition.
